Tennis power couple Alex de Minaur and Katie Boulter secretly marry during Wimbledon final
Tennis stars Alex de Minaur and Katie Boulter quietly tied the knot in an intimate ceremony on Sunday, following their Wimbledon eliminations.
The Aussie world No.5, 27, married fiancée Boulter, 29, in a “low-key” church wedding near Boulter’s hometown in Leicestershire village, according to multiple outlets.

The wedding took place in front of family, just as the 2026 Wimbledon’s men’s final was under way between defending champion Jannik Sinner and opponent Alexander Zverev.
Both De Minaur and Boulter were defeated in the early rounds of Wimbledon this year.
Photos from the couple’s big day show Boulter absolutely glowing in an off-the-shoulder satin white wedding gown with her blonde hair swept up, paired with silver diamond jewellery.
Her partner of six years, De Minaur, arrived at the altar wearing a traditional black suit, white dress shirt and black bow tie, teamed with a white rose boutonniere.
After the ceremony, the newlyweds walked down the aisle and out the entrance of the church steps holding hands as husband and wife.
Boulter held her bouquet up in celebration as the couple were showered by red rose petals. Family then joined the newly minted husband and wife at a nearby pub for the reception, The Daily Mail reported.
De Minaur and Boulter announced their engagement in December 2024. “We’ve been keeping a small secret,” they revealed in a joint Instagram post.

The photo, of course, showed off the British tennis prodigy wearing her new engagement ring.
The couple met through the sport. Boulter knew of De Minaur through mutual friends and had heard he was a “good, humble” guy, so when she bumped into him by chance one day she decided to say hello.

“One day, when we were staying in the same hotel, we bumped into each other at six in the morning and ended up getting a coffee,” she told The Sydney Morning Herald at the time.
“From that moment, I knew I was in it for the long haul.”
De Minaur was taken by her “smiling, happy” attitude and the pair started dating right as the COVID-19 pandemic started.
Their relationship went public in March 2021 to celebrate their one-year anniversary. They’ve been each other’s biggest supporters both on an off the court ever since.
At the 2022 Wimbledon tournament, de Minaur had nothing but praise for his partner following her win against Karolina Pliskova.
“Before we talk about my match,” he said to the BBC during a press conference, “can we just talk about Katie Boulter today? I mean, she had a pretty good win herself”.
In a 2023 interview with Tatler magazine, Boulter expanded on how supportive her boyfriend had been of her career.
“I couldn’t ask for any better, he’s the best support I’ve got,” she beamed.
