Clever Adele fans work out the singer has a new tattoo after seeing a cryptic Instagram photo

Nothing gets past an Adele fan!

Super sleuths on Instagram have worked out that the singer got a secret wrist tattoo.

Adele, 32, briefly flashed the ink during her recent presenting gig on Saturday Night Live, but it's only now that fans have uncovered it.

In March, a photo shared by tattoo artist Doctor Woo presented a wrist tattoo of a mountain. It was captioned, "Came across a lil nature view I did a while back."

But in the last 24 hours, Adele fans worked out that the art belongs to the hitmaker.

"I know this hand," one user wrote. "YES ITS ADELES HAND," another chimed in.

A third commented, "ADELE! It's GORGEOUS."

Adele's other tattoos include the planet Saturn in honour of her son, an 'A' on her ear, the word 'paradise' on her left hand and her son's name 'Angelo' on her right. She's also been seen with a 'one penny' wrist tattoo which is a tribute to her mother Penny Adkins.

It was recently reported that the singer is back in the studio and recording a new album after a lengthy hiatus.

"This past week … I just got to work on some new music for Adele," Pearl Jam drummer Matt Chamberlain said on the The Eddie Trunk Podcast.

"To hear that voice in my headphones was getting me chills. It was just so powerful and emotive. You know her voice, but to be across the room from somebody doing that, it's just insane. You hear it on the radio and whatever and you go, 'Yeah, it sounds really good,' but to be in the room with these people and feel that energy, it's just so heavy."
