Adele on snapping her Grammy in half: 'What the f--- does Beyoncé need to do to win?'

Adele may have taken home Album of the Year at the 2017 Grammy Awards last night, but she shared a piece of the glory with Beyoncé in the most awe-inspiring way.

Delivering a moving acceptance speech that gave us all the feels, the "Hello" singer effusively praised Beyoncé as "the artist of my life" and called Lemonade "monumental".  

She added that she could not "possibly accept this award" before breaking it in two and reportedly giving one half to the "Hold Up" singer.

She also opened up about why she chose to restart her George Michael tribute live on-air. Unhappy with how her performance of his 1996 hit "Fastlove" was going, she abruptly asked to start over.

"I was devastated by that, and my rehearsal — I did have a shaky rehearsal today," she told reporters. "But I have been working very hard on this tribute for him, every day."

"I found him to be one of the truest icons," she said.
