Kim Kardashian denied access to member's only club Soho House

She might have been accepted by Vogue but member's only club Soho House has refused membership for Kim Kardashian.

In a move which is bound to infuriate the reality TV queen, the upmarket club says they've refused her application several times. Youch.

At its five-year anniversary in West Hollywood, former membership director Tim Geary told The Hollywood Reporter: "Kim Kardashian has unsuccessfully tried numerous times."

He also went on to reveal that the Real Housewives of Beverley Hills have also applied for membership and been denied.

We can't imagine Kim, 34, being happy about her placement in the same category as the Housewives. Imagine Kanye's face.

Mr Geary went on to state that celebrities were generally denied if they would bring too much attention to the club.

He explained: "There was debate over Britney Spears. Not sure how that played out. We tried not to give membership to people who would fuel paparazzi or bring press."

Soho House’s snooty reputation became notorious when its NYC venue featured in Sex and the City, in which Samantha gained entry with a stolen membership card.
