Kanye West auditions for American Idol in hilarious spoof trailer: 'I'm Kanye from Chicago'

He's compares himself to God and has pulled in $100million from releasing album after album since 2004.

But that doesn't mean Kanye West isn't down for a little bit of self-deprecating humour.

The 38-year-old Yeezus rapper pretended to audition for a spot on American Idol, as part of an advert for the final ever season of the hit show.

Arriving with a very pregnant Kim Kardashian, he shyly rocks up to the studio to impress the judges, including Jennifer Lopez.

We love Kim's support as she tells Ryan Seacrest how Kanye has got this and thinks he will get through.

Imagine if he didn't? There would be some Kanye style ranting for sure.
