Shane Warne claims his style evolution had nothing to do with Liz Hurley: 'I'd always dressed nicely'

Flashback to 2012 and a certain Shane Warne appeared to change overnight, swapping tracksuits for suits, a slicked back hairstyle and his face looking a little more taut.

But Shane is now claiming it had nothing to do with his relationship with Elizabeth Hurley. Hmm, we're dubious.

This is what he had to say about it….

"I'd always dressed nicely. I had worn a suit before, in the 25 years before I met Elizabeth," he told The Times magazine.

Well, we trawled through our picture archives and Warney isn't completely telling the truth. There's hardly any snaps pre-Liz in a suit. In fact, the below was his usual attire.

He added: "Everyone thinks I've had facial operations. I haven't had one thing....As I started to get a lot fitter, I met Elizabeth. People thought it was Elizabeth's work. What's she done to his face? 

"You lose 14, 15 kilos, it looks different. I've got wrinkles and all sorts of stuff, but because I think I'm looking better than I used to, people jumped to all these conclusions."

The dad-of-three met Elizabeth in 2010 and they started dating a year later after his ten-year marriage to Simone Callahan  broke down and Elizabeth split with businessman Arun Nayar.

They split in 2013 and Shane has jumped from brief relationship to brief relationship, now finding himself on Tinder.

So, if you fancy a date with Shane "no woman changes my appearance" Warne, then get swiping.
