Pamela Anderson sizzles in Psycho shower scene recreation

Amy Nelmes Bissett

One word:Wow. Pamela Anderson has gone back to her bombshell roots for the latest poster for animal cruelty fighters, PETA.

The 47-year-old former glamour girl stripped to recreate the shower scene made famous in Hitchcock's Psycho, back in 1960.

The reason? To highlight the amount of water used in the diary and meat farm industry. It's uses a third of the world's available water, just in case you couldn't peal
your eyes away from Pammie.

"With even the oldest, least eco-friendly showerhead, a 10-minute shower averages approximately 40 gallons of water," says Pete. "How does that compare to raising animals for food? It takes four million gallons to produce one tonne of beef.

"That means that it takes 1,846 gallons of water to produce just one pound of beef. That’s the equivalent of 46 10-minute showers."
