Blanket Jackson changed his name to 'Bigi' after years of being bullied

We'll give it to Blanket Jackson, he was dealt a pretty harsh hand when it came to his celebrity offspring name.

So, it's perhaps no surprise that Michael Jackson's youngest son has changed his name to Bigi after years of schoolyard bullying.

A source told Radaronline: "He always thought that the name Blanket sounded so stupid and resented his father for calling him that.

"Growing up, his school mates have always been slightly mean to him because of their jealousy over who he is and going by Blanket made him a much easier target for ridicule."

The 13-year-old changed his name when he started at The Buckley School in Sherman Oaks, California, last year.

According to the source, “When he entered Buckley he told them that his name is Bigi and that is what they call him.”

Blanket, along with his siblings Paris, 17, and Prince, 18, lives with his co-guardians, 85-year-old Katherine and cousin Tito in Los Angeles.
