EXCLUSIVE: Kanye West bans North from reading books as it will 'stunt her development in the modern world'

Kanye West has banned his daughter from reading 'old fashioned' books as he believes they will stunt North's development.

Yep, the rant-a-minute rapper says the future is in technology and the two-year-old should be reading from an iPad or computer.

The source added: "He also claims many of the stories are socially and politically backwards."

It comes after Kris' mother Mary Jo gave North a vintage, collectors edition of books from her childhood, including some Beatrix Potter and Sleeping Beauty.

"But Kanye gave them back, hurting Mary Jo's feelings, by telling her that those books aren't appropriate for Nori," says the insider.

And the incident caused a clash between Kanye, 38, and Kim, who said he was being "outrageous".

"Kanye is a tech freak to the extreme," added the source. "So despite Kim's words, he has refused to bend on it."
