Cat suspects her owner's kitsch kitten statue is an untrustworthy imposter

No one likes the idea of being replaced, so this cat's reaction to this porcelain imposter trying to take her place is completely reasonable.

Her fierce reaction to the statue quickly went viral, with news outlets the world over picking up on it.

The (real) cat is fast becoming an internet queen, appearing in at least four major mastheads in the past 24 hours.

David Dominguez tried to convince his kitty that the statue was just a harmless decorative object, but the feline was wisely weary of the fake cat.

Because this wasn't just some delightfully kitsch ornament, but an attack on her very position in the house.

Clearly by taking the shape of a cat, this charlatan meant war.

And such an affront cannot be taken lightly.

So of course she lashed out, making it very clear to the inanimate object just who ruled the roost in the joint and it wasn't going to be some poxy statue, thank you very much.

At one point she actually snorted, but she made her views clear.
