This latest round of birds vs weather presenters comes from Canada, where Vancouver journo Tara Jean Stevens seems to have attracted an enemy/fan/super stalker of a seagull.

The bird plagued her weather forecasts last week, getting a little too close to the camera.

Fans of Breakfast Television Vancouver laughed along with Stevens when she tried to deliver a her report with a giant bird in the background.

The clip was posted to Facebook on August 2 , which clocked up more than 50,000 views and was picked up by viral sites the world over.

But the seagull came back.

Two days later the bird returned to the screen, and it was magical television.

That clip has shot up to nearly 20,000 views and cemented Stevens as a viral star.

It makes for excellent viewing, and proves that the birds have something against the fine folk in broadcast journalism.
