Tech hacks break-down Vic budget data

Victorian technology heads have been busy trying to make government budget data easier to understand.

The government partnered with Code for Australia for a two night budget hackathon where teams went head-to-head to develop innovative ways for Victorians to visualise budget data.

The winning team, Bling My Suburb, created a way to search the budget by location and took home the $700 prize.
