Reddit teams up with AFL for world-first
Reddit has partnered with the AFL to offer a new experience for fans of the game.
This is a first for the social news platform, the AFL beating other sporting codes to feature custom avatars on the site - despite Reddit being a prominent American platform.

Footy fans will be able to create their own digital Reddit Avatar, complete with customised hair, jackets, and most importantly the guernsey of their favourite AFL team.
The avatars offer a sense of individuality to the user, with the profile image attached to their name whenever they post a comment in the online forum.

To access their new avatar, fans can create an account or log in, head over to their profile and select "style avatar".
Previous Reddit partnerships included gaming brands Riot and Bungie.
