Reserve Bank governor Glenn Stevens' views on the Greek debt crisis and vote on rejecting austerity measures are expected to be outlined on Tuesday.

The RBA will hold its monthly board meeting, which is widely tipped by economists to result in the cash rate being left at a record low of two per cent.

But all eyes will be on Mr Stevens' post-meeting statement and what the developments in Greece and Europe mean for the Australian interest rate outlook.

Acting Treasurer Bruce Billson reassured investors on Monday Australia has only a modest exposure to Greece.

Developments in China, which is facing slowing economic growth and tumbling share prices, are more likely to have a bigger impact on the Australian economic outlook.
