Perth beaches closed after shark sighting

A 2.5 metre shark has come within 10 metres of the shore at a popular family beach in Perth, prompting warnings from Surf Life Saving WA.
The unknown species of shark was spotted 15 metres off Mettams Pool on Sunday afternoon and even closer to shore on Monday morning.
A white shark was then spotted 100 metres off Floreat beach, prompting its closure along with neighbouring City Beach.
