Car manufacturer channels Marty McFly with new hoverboard unveiled

Car manufacturer Lexus is making the teenage dream from the Back to the Future II come true with the public debut of their new hoverboard.
Named SLIDE, the board requires a magnetic track to hover but is sadly not being developed for commercial use.
The announcement is part of the promotional ahead of the release of a new Lexus car model.

A teaser video released by the Japanese company suggests the product will be debuted on Wednesday.
The timing is fitting: Michael J. Fox's character from the popular film franchise Marty McFly picks up his hoverboard in 2015.
