Swedish company launches 'flying car' that can reach hundreds of metres above ground
A Swedish company has developed the world's first commercially available "flying car", and for a cool $129,000, one could be yours.
The Jetson ONE is a "personal electric aerial vehicle" than carries one person, and the company claims it takes all of five minutes to learn how to fly.
On its website, Jetson claims the craft can reach a software-limited top speed of 102km/hr, and has an altitude ceiling of 1500 feet (457m).

It has a flight time of 20 minutes and, so Jetson claims, can take off and land from your own backyard.
It doesn't come cheap, with a price tag of US$92,000 ($128,747.56) and a deposit of US$22,000 ($30,787.46) required to secure your booking.
And you'll be waiting a while for delivery, with all chassis for 2022 already reserved for customers - but there are some spots left in 2023.
