Telstra customers have taken to social media again to vent their frustration about another service outage, the third in two months.

Telstra initially said there had been issues with voice calls but has since confirmed the issue is resolved.

"We are experiencing intermittent voice call failures and connection delays on our fixed and mobile networks – predominantly in Victoria and Tasmania, but impacting other states sporadically," the company said in an earlier statement.

The reported outage follows a service dropout last week that affected about eight million customers for up to four hours.

Users have taken to Twitter to vent their anger over the mishap.
