Imogen the koala: Zoo favourite still warming hearts one year on

Staff at a NSW wildlife park have shared new video of their famed attraction, Imogen the koala, more than a year after posting their heart-warming first clip.

Imogen, then 10 months old, was introduced to the world via a photoshoot exactly a year ago, and quickly became a crowd favourite at the Symbio Wildlife Park in Helensburgh due to her cuddly nature.

A new video showing Imogen’s development has been viewed more than 23,000 times after being posted this morning.

“Imogen is still as cute as ever. She can’t get enough of her daily cuddles and snuggles with her human family,” a Symbio Wildlife Park spokesman said.

Last year, zookeepers Matt Radnidge and Kylie Elliot posted a video on the park’s Facebook page of them hand-raising Imogen when she was a tiny joey.

The video attracted more than two million views on Facebook and garnered worldwide attention.

Imogen turns two in November.
