Sydney youth worker found not guilty on sexual offence charges

A western Sydney youth worker charged with a spate of sexual offences has been found not guilty on all counts.

Kallin Dries faced more than a dozen charges of having sexual intercourse with a minor he met while working at a refuge in 2009.

Following a trial at the Downing Centre district court, the jury found Mr Dries not guilty on all charges.

The alleged victim was a resident living at the refuge.

Mr Dries admitted to having a “consensual” relationship with the teenager that only turned sexual when she was 16.
