Young man hit by car in Townsville dies

A young man has died in Townsville after being hit by a car.
The 23-year-old man was walking with a young woman early on Thursday morning when a car hit them at Black River.
They were taken to Townsville Hospital but the man later died while the woman remains in a stable condition.
