‘Yes’ campaigners makeover Margaret Court Arena security bollards

Supporters of same-sex marriage have targeted security bollards near Melbourne’s Margaret Court Arena.

Images taken by 9NEWS show a number of the bollards covered in colourful posters this afternoon.

“Love-all #voteyes,” the signs read.

The move comes after legendary tennis player Margaret Court said she would refuse to fly Qantas airlines for their positive stance on gay marriage.

Court penned a letter for The West Australian newspaper in May, writing that she believed marriage should be a “union between a man and a woman as stated in the Bible.”

"Your statement leaves me no option but to use other airlines were possible for my extensive travelling."

The letter sparked backlash, with many calling for Court’s eponymous arena to be re-named.

Tennis professionals, including Martina Navratilova, also slammed the 74-year-old, who is a senior pastor at Perth’s Victory Life Church, for her views.
