One dead and another injured in separate stabbings overnight
One man is dead and another is in hospital after two separate stabbings in Victoria overnight.
A 19-year-old Kennington man was arrested in Flora Hill - a suburb of Bendigo in central Victoria - this morning after emergency services responded to calls of a man with stab wounds at One Tree Hill Lookout about 11.20pm
The man, who is yet to be formally identified, was treated by paramedics but died at the scene.
A 15-year-old boy was taken to hospital after receiving lacerations to his stomach and face. 9news
In a separate incident a 15-year-old boy was taken to hospital in a stable condition after suffering lacerations to his stomach and head in St Kilda.
Emergency crews were called to Barkly St about 9.30pm with the teenager telling police another male was involved.
At this stage investigators believe that the parties involved are known to each other and the investigation continues.
