Everyone knows pro wrestling is fake, but one young fan learnt the pain can be very real.

Wrestler Brock Lesnar wanted to send a message to J&J Security during a Monday Night RAW battle by destroying their "prized Cadillac" yesterday.

With three rivals standing in the ring, Lesnar took an axe to the luxury red sedan, smashing windows and cracking holes in the panels.

Wrestler Jamie Noble had tears as the ride given to him by Seth Rollins was remodelled for the crowds' entertainment.

But Lesnar was not finished with wrecking the vehicle and dropped the axe to use his bare hands to rip off a car door.

The mountain of man heaved the hunk of metal to the ground, then picked it up and hurled it yonder like an Olympic hammer thrower.

The door landed in the crowd where it appeared to be caught by some charged-up fans that held it high in the air.

What the cameras missed was the young boy right in Lesnar's firing line.

One spectator, Bill Neville, recorded the hit, but only just.

"JESUS, took me a couple times to see it, but that kid got CLOCKED," he tweeted with the video.

The enraptured spectators beside the boy didn't seem to notice he copped a battering.

According to PWInsider, the fan was taken backstage where he was treated by paramedics and later returned to his seat.
