A one tonne pallet holding glass panelling had fallen a metre onto the worker, leaving him with serious injuries.

A Careflight helicopter attended the scene and landed on a vacant block 150 metres away from the scene.

CareFlight’s specialist doctor and critical care paramedic treated the man.

He was observed by the CareFlight medical team as he was transported by ambulance to Liverpool Hospital in a stable condition.

NSW Police also attended the scene.
