Worker killed by collapsed brick wall in Ballarat

A man has been crushed and killed after a brick wall collapsed at a work site in western Victoria.
The incident occurred while a house was being demolished at Kenthworthy Place in Mount Pleasant – a suburb of Ballarat.
A Victoria Police spokeswoman has confirmed the death.

"It is believed a house was being demolished at Kenworthy Place near Flockhart Street, when a wall collapsed on a man about 9am," she said.
"Worksafe are investigating and police will prepare a report for the Coroner."
The man, who died at the scene, is yet to be formally identified.
