Women attacked in violent carjackings

A woman has been the victim of a violent carjacking in Brisbane’s south.

The 28-year-old, who does not want to be identified, had just finished dinner at Sunnybank Plaza when she was attacked by two women in the carpark.

The women opened her door and demanded her keys and wallet. When she refused, they pulled her out of the car by her hair and smashed her into the concrete.

She was taken to hospital with a fractured tail bone.

Police believe the same women targeted another driver just minutes earlier, getting in her car and demanding she drive them to the train station.

They say they know the identity of the women and are hopeful of catching them soon.
