Woman’s live stream captures dazzling green meteor

A woman live streaming with her friend in San Diego accidently captured a dazzling meteor glided across the night sky.

The woman was live streaming on Monday night (local time) when the ball of light illuminated behind her, leaving her in awe.

“Did you guys see that?” she said. “I thought it was coming for me.”

The American Meteor Society said it had received more than 400 reports of a “fireball event” caught over San Diego around 9pm.

It was also seen in LA, Arizona, Nevada and New Mexico.
