Woman trapped under bus in Brisbane CBD

A woman has been hit by a bus in the Brisbane CBD in peak hour.

The woman, 41, was hit by the bus on Creek St about 8.40am on Monday.

She was trapped under the vehicle for about half an hour before she was freed and taken to hospital with injuries described as not life threatening.

The bus driver, a 56-year-old woman, was also taken to hospital suffering shock.

There were no passengers on the bus at the time of the accident.
