Woman threatened with gun in Sydney
A man faces a string of charges after a woman was threatened with a firearm in Sydney's west.
Police say the incident happened at a Guildford home about 8.30pm (AEDT) on Wednesday during an argument between a 25-year-old man and a 23-year-old woman.
The woman left and contacted police. They attended an address in Carramar, arrested the man and allegedly found a firearm.
He was charged with threatening injury to a person with intent to commit an indictable offence and intimidating with fear of physical harm.
The man was also charged with possessing ammunition, not keeping a firearm safely, possessing a shortened firearm without authority, possessing an unregistered firearm and breach of AVO.
He was refused bail to appear at Fairfield Local Court on Friday.
