Woman’s arm severed in balcony collapse

A woman's arm has been severed in a balcony collapse on the NSW South Coast.

Five people fell from the first floor of the home in Manyana, near Mollymook, last night at about 6pm.

A paramedic on the scene said the fall was about three to four metres.

Three women have been airlifted to hospital in a serious condition.

One, aged 82, was taken to Liverpool Hospital in Sydney with a severed arm.

Another woman, 42, and a man, 43, were also taken to hospital with minor injuries.

Police are trying to establish how the balcony collapse.
