Woman killed, child seriously injured in truck crash in Geelong
A woman has been killed and a child has been airlifted to hospital after a truck and car collided in Geelong, in Victoria's south-west.
A truck travelling north along Bacchus Marsh Road in Corio collided with a car at the intersection of the Ring Road just after 2pm, according to Victoria Police.
The woman driving the car, who is yet to be formally identified, died at the scene.

A young child has been airlifted to the Royal Children's Hospital with serious injuries.
The male truck driver was not injured and is helping police with their investigation.
Bacchus Marsh Road at the Geelong Ring Road is blocked in both directions.
