Woman in her 30s killed by falling branch in NSW
A woman bushwalker has been killed by a falling branch in New South Wales, with wild weather set to continue in three states today.
The woman, who NSW Police say was in her 30s, was killed in Watagans National Park at Cooranbong, near Lake Macquarie on the Central Coast.
NSW Police said ambulance and NSW Fire and Rescue crews were called but the woman couldn't be saved.

"Despite the efforts of relatives and first responders, the woman, believed to be aged in her 30s, was unable to be revived," NSW Police said.
"At the time of the incident, weather conditions were poor, with the area being drenched by heavy rain throughout the day.

"A report will be prepared for the Coroner."
According to the Bureau of Meteorology almost 44mm of rain fell in the area yesterday.
Warning for storms, winds and more rain have been issued for NSW, Queensland and Western Australia.
