Woman has surgery to look like Jennifer Lawrence

A US dog trainer and Jennifer Lawrence fan has forked out thousands of dollars on plastic surgery in a bid to look like her idol.

Kitty, a 30-year-old, from Texas said people began comparing her to the Silver Linings Playbook actress around the time of her Oscar win last year, the ABC reports.

The mother liked it so much she decided to have cosmetic surgery to look even more like the 23-year-old actress. 

"I'm not trying to look like Pamela Anderson here during her 'Baywatch' days," Kitty said.

"I'm trying to look like a very capable, very personal level-headed female who is an Academy Award winner."

Kitty underwent six surgical procedures including liposuction and a nose and boob job, costing $27,000 minus a discount her surgeon provided for appearing on TV.

"She look like a cross between Jessica Rabbit and Jeniffer Lawrence," Kitty's surgeon said.

Kitty said when she looks in the mirror she still sees herself "but slightly changed for the better".
