Mystery surrounds discovery of seriously injured woman in Perth home
Police have spent the day scouring a home in Perth’s southeast after a woman was found unconscious.
The 42-year-old is in an induced coma after she suffered severe injuries to her face and swelling on the brain in her Maddington property.
She was discovered yesterday afternoon when family members called emergency services because than hadn’t been able to contact her since last Wednesday.
“At this stage we don’t have a lot of information,” Detective Senior Constable Darryl Gordon said.
“She was unconscious when she was located and she’s unconscious now, so we’re just urging the pubic to come forward with any information.”
Police have searched around the Gosnells Road property for any signs of forced entry, and have gathered a large amount of evidence.
