Two die in separate crashes across southeast Queensland

Two people have been killed in separate single-vehicle crashes in southeast Queensland.

Police say a 62-year-old woman died after her car rolled at Hoya south of Ipswich at around 11.30am on Friday on Boonah-Fassifern Road.

The driver, who was the sole occupant of the vehicle, died at the scene.

At 10.20pm on Friday a person died at Woolloongabba when their car left the highway and crashed into trees before catching fire.

When the fire was extinguished emergency services discovered the remains of one person inside the vehicle.
