Woman dies from ACT car accident injuries

An elderly Canberra woman has died of injuries she received in a road accident a month ago.

ACT police said the woman, 93, was injured in a collision at shops in the Canberra suburb of Curtin on May 4 when one vehicle reversed and collided with two stationary vehicles.

She was transported to Canberra Hospital where she died on Friday. She's the third person to die on Canberra roads this year.
