Woman dies after Vic car park altercation

A woman has died after being assaulted during an altercation in the car park of a Melbourne hotel.

The 63-year-old was involved in the altercation in the rear car park of a hotel in Fawkner on Saturday night.

The Fawkner woman died in hospital on Wednesday afternoon, police said.

Jacinda Mark, 29, of Fawkner, was charged on Monday with intentionally causing serious injury.

Police said those charges would now be reviewed following the woman's death.
