Woman critical after falling from car

A woman is fighting for her life after falling out of a moving car in central Queensland.

Police say the 32-year-old Duaringa woman sustained life threatening injuries following the single vehicle incident at Kokotungo on Monday night.

Police believe the woman, who was a passenger in a vehicle, fell from the car on the Baralaba - Kooemba Road, Kokotungo sometime around 7.30pm.

The woman sustained critical head injuries and she's expected to be airlifted to a Brisbane hospital.

Police investigations continue.
