Woman charged in connection with shooting of five-year-old boy in Sydney

A woman has been charged following the shooting of a five-year-old boy at a home in Sydney.

The boy was shot in the hip while playing with his sister in the bedroom of the Lurnea property last Monday night.

A 37-year-old woman was arrested yesterday and charged with in connection with the shooting.

She was granted bail and is expected to appear in court later this month.
