Woman allegedly steals car with a baby inside in Brisbane
A 32-year-old woman will face court today after she allegedly stole a car with a young child in the back seat in Brisbane yesterday.
A woman was standing in the carpark of a St Pauls Terrace building when another woman, unknown to her, allegedly jumped into her nearby car and drove away.
The owner of the car, a 33-year-old woman, tracked the car to Leichhardt Street on her phone, where she tried to stop it and restrain the driver.

She sustained minor injuries.
Bystanders helped her restrain the other woman until police arrived.
The 18-month-old child in the back seat was unharmed.
A 32-year-old woman of no fixed address was charged with child stealing, illegal use of a car, and unlicenced driving.
She will appear in court today.
