Woman caught stealing laptop from Melbourne café in broad daylight

A woman has been caught on CCTV stealing a laptop from a Melbourne café.

The thief made off with the computer which contained priceless photos of the victim’s family and children growing up which are irreplaceable.

The theft took place in broad daylight when the woman walked into a staff only area of the café on Bluff Road in Hampton and made off with the laptop just after 11.30am last Wednesday.

Police are urging the woman to come forward to assist their inquiries.

It’s believed she was with two men perceived to be Aboriginal or Pacific Islander in appearance.

The woman is described as aged in her 40s with a stocky build and perceived to be Aboriginal or Pacific Islander in appearance.
