Woman assaulted at beach by naked man

A woman was indecently assaulted by a naked, tattooed man who approached her at a Port Macquarie beach, police say.

The 40-year-old woman was sitting on a bench at Lighthouse Beach at about 10am on Tuesday, when a naked man approached her and indecently assaulted her, according to police.

After the woman reported the incident, police canvassed the beach but could not locate the man.

Detectives are searching for a man of Caucasian appearance, aged between 35-45, with an athletic build, a shaved head and with tattoos on his torso.
