Woman charged after allegedly ramming police cars in Hungry Jack's car park

A woman has been charged after she allegedly rammed two police vehicles in a Queensland Hungry Jack's car park.

Police were called to the fast food restaurant on Brisbane Street in Ipswich at 11.20pm on Monday (12.20am Tuesday AEDT) in response to reports a 2010 Mitsubishi Lancer had been stolen.

When officers arrived in two vehicles, it is alleged the woman reversed into one of the police cars and accelerated into the other as she attempted to leave the car park.

The woman was arrested and taken into custody.

Police alleged the vehicle was stolen from a Shailer Park address on October 27 and had number plates from a black BMW hatchback that had been stolen on October 6.

A 36-year-old woman has been charged with one count each of damaging an emergency vehicle when operating a motor vehicle, unlawful use of a motor vehicle and possessing tainted property.

She was also charged with receiving tainted property, driving without a licence and using or permitting use of vehicle for which a number plate attached given granted for another vehicle.

She was due to appear in the Ipswich Magistrates Court on Tuesday.

Early on Wednesday, police said they'd also charged her 28-year-old passenger, from East Brisbane, with one count of unlawful use of a motor vehicle.

He's due in court on November 24.

No officers were physically injured during the incident.
