Witness made to sit handwriting exam

A witness before the trade union royal commission has been given a handwriting exam to test his truthfulness.

Form-worker Tuungafasi Manase denied on Tuesday he wrote a list of payments due to a CFMEU organiser and gave them to his boss Elias Taleb, who alleged he did on Monday.

Commissioner Heydon dictated lines to Mr Manase to write down, in order to compare them to the piece of paper in evidence.
