Elderly pedestrian hit by car in Sydney's north dies from injuries
An elderly woman has died in hospital after she was hit by a car in Sydney's north yesterday.
Emergency crews were called to the intersection of High and Rosewall Streets in Willoughby just after 4pm after the woman, 88, was struck by a Toyota Hilux.
She was treated by paramedics at the scene before being rushed to Royal North Shore Hospital.

A crime scene was established and the 28-year-old Hilux driver was taken to hospital for mandatory drug and alcohol testing.
Police have since been informed the elderly woman has died from her injuries.
