International student hit and killed by car allegedly driven by friend in Sydney's south-west
An international student has been killed in Sydney's south-west after he was hit by a car allegedly driven by his friend.
Ismail Hossain had just arrived at his Wiley Park home at 12.15am when his best mate Nasir Uddin, 24, was pulling into the driveway.
Uddin allegedly went to reverse the Toyota Corolla but instead hit the accelerator.

Ismail Hossain was allegedly hit and killed by the car on Monday just after midnight. 9News
Neighbours raced to help, but it was too late.
"We just heard a loud noise, like hitting a house, so we get outside and we saw someone else crying," a witness told 9News.
Hossain, originally from Bangladesh, lived at the property with four other students.
Uddin was arrested at the scene and taken to hospital for testing.

He was later taken to Campsie Police Station and charged with negligent driving occasioning death.

The magistrate granted him bail on the condition he surrenders his passport.
Lawyer Upol Amin said: "You've got a situation where there's a matter of sympathy for the accused who needs to live the rest of his life with the knowledge that he was behind the wheel."
