Destructive winds, flash-flooding to hit in South Australia overnight
South Australia is braced for a wild night with an extreme cold front sweeping over the south coast bringing destructive winds and heavy rain.
Every district from the state's west, down to the south-east, is set to be affected.
The front is expected to hit Adelaide about midnight from the state's west.

Wind gusts of up to 120km an hour are forecast in parts, with a storm surge whipping the ocean into a frenzy.
Emergency crews are on high alert, having already responded to reports of trees down today.
They urge residents to be alert and tie down anything that might be blown away.

Rain has already started to fall in the Adelaide Hills, and is expected to increase into the night.
Widespread falls of about 40mm to 60mm are expected, increasing the chances of flash flooding.
Some parts of the Mt Loft ranges could receive up to 80mm in coming days.

The wild weather is expected to ease by early tomorrow, but showers are expected for the remainder of the week.
