Wild weather expected across Victoria and South Australia as cold front moves in
Parts of Victoria and South Australia are expected to be lashed by fierce winds today as a cold front moves across the country.
The Bureau of Meteorology issued a severe weather warning for parts of South Australia while a number of weather warnings were also present for Victoria.
Damaging and destructive winds are forecast for various parts of the southern states this morning.

The cold front is expected to hit Port Lincoln and Mount Gambier in South Australia this morning before moving through Adelaide.
Destructive winds of up to 140km/h for parts of Victoria including the North East, West and South Gippsland and East Gippsland districts.
Damaging winds around 60 km/h with peak gusts of 100 km/h are also forecast for the Mallee, Wimmera, North Central, South West and Central districts and parts of the Northern Country district.
SES advises people to move their cars away from trees, secure loose items and keep clear of fallen power lines.
