Rare baby 'white' crocodile born at NT park
9NEWS
One of the rarest crocodiles on earth, a leucistic “saltie”, has been bred at Berimah’s Crocodylus Park.
The baby saltwater crocodile is born with a condition that has given it lighter-coloured skin compared to its siblings.
Natasha Eales from Crocodylus Park said only about one in 10,000 were born with the condition in the wild.

She said they did not normally make it to adulthood, as their lighter colour made them more vulnerable to predators.
